John, just because you have never gotten a $50, doesn’t mean no other person gets it either!

I’m an Uber driver, I had asked what Uber’s background check involved , how extensive. Reps could not tell me. How did you get reliable info on Uber and Lyft background check processes and in what way is Lyft more extensive than Uber? Thanks

Aside from that the only other thing I noticed as for misinformation was that uber does not send nor provide you with any cell phone none the less an iPhone4s and it’s up to you to purchase your own phone, charging blocks, cables, hands free mounts, etc. And as for a service you failed to mention that can make a huge impact in someone’s life based on the facts that either the car they currently have doesn’t qualify or can’t afford to buy a new enough car; they could always go through ubers subsidiary company “Xchange Leasing” and lease to own a brand new car for $250.00 down plus the required insurance, just keep in mind prices may vary from city to city (I payed $388 “down payment + insurance” and drove off the lot 2 days later.) But I’ll warn you the car payments are ungodly high and pretty much a rip off, I’m currently paying $181.25 per week ($727 a month + $138 for insurance + $560 to $700 for gas as well as $125 for my cell phone bill; that’s just my expenses to keep my job and the car **roughly between $1550 -$1690 a month. I’ve made on average between $19 – $26/hr but as for driving for lyft on average I make between $30 – $40/hr and lyft offers an express pay to all its drivers from the day you start, the only requirements necessary in order receive and use this feature is that you’ve earned over $50 after lyft’s fee’s and only charges you $0.50 to do the transaction and you should see the funds show up in your bank account within one minute up to 4 hours later depending on your banks policies and procedures for direct deposits. Lyft is the same service just less expensive, in which they also do a more thorough background check and by far more in depth inspection of the vehicle you plan on driving as well as go on a practice run with the mentor (one of the top drivers for lyft),but hella worth it!
