I painted, did photography and then started doing stand up comedy at open mic events. This required writing jokes and stories that were very funny not just humorous but on the spot funny. i started attending a local Open mic at a red neck bar were the patrons think a 7 course meal is a Hot Dog and a 6 pack of beer. After several of these events I got to know the staff. I walked in and said to the bartender ” You have never carded me being an old guy would you like to feel my pulse or know my blood pressure. A t that moment a patron put a small plastic cup in front of my beer indicating to the bartender he wanted to buy me another beer.
I pored a small amount of beer into the cup and told the bartender not now! At this point I was called up to the mike. I told them beibg an old guy they wanted to check my pulse and know my blood pressure at the bar. They then gave me this sample cup and I wanted to know where I was to leave my urine sample. OK if you don’t need it “I ‘ll recycle it” and drank the small amount of beer i had put in the cup. The audience groaned , laughed and cried.. It has been a great ride so far.
