Elaine, I am sorry you are having such difficulties. I hope things improve.

As far as government programs, they have a few programs including Government-backed home loans and mortgage assistance, Homeownership vouchers for first-time homebuyers and Real estate and federal lands for sale by the government. You can find out more on U.S. government’s website at https://www.usa.gov/buying-home-programs.

I receive SSD. However, I am 80 years old and the home I rent is leaking along the bottom, where the wall meets the floor. I worked for the office of education and went to school many years believing that an education could help me have enough money to leave poverty behind. Obviously, I was incorrect.
My sister and I own a small lot here in Lucerne and we want to put a small home on it, but all the taxes and licenses are so expensive that we can’t afford it. If we could borrow one hundred thousand dollars and pay it back in small increments, like $600.00 per month we could get a small, manufactured home. I know that could be arranged somehow, but I have been working on it for 6 months and keep running into brick walls. Could you give advice on how to arrange this type of loan or how to use government programs to get a home that will not leak? We have done everything we can to fix this home and have been told it is not fixable.

John, you will need to fill out these forms yourself because they require some personal information that I wouldn’t have any way of knowing about you.

You don’t need to be computer literate to do it either. Just visit the website (http://anonymousmillionaire.org/request-financial-assistance/) and complete the form. That’s all it takes! The website will guide you through the process step by step, and it’s very easy.

If you find it difficult, you can ask a family member to sit down with you and fill out the form on your behalf. If you have no one available to help you, please send me the answers (if you’re comfortable sharing your personal information) through our contact page, and I will submit the form for you.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

In February of last year my sister was in a psychotic state due to her untreated schizophrenia and she decided to burn my mother’s house down. My mother had that house for 37 years and it was paid off and at the time we didn’t have homeowners insurance because we couldn’t afford it so we lost everything and it’s been a struggle ever since. I’m homeless most of the time and my mom is staying with my aunt which is her sister-in-law My sister is staying at a friend’s. Currently I’m staying with a friend but Don’t know how much longer I can stay. I really feel like a horrible son to my mom because I wasn’t able to provide her a place to stay after all this happened and I’d give anything to get my mother a house. She of all people didn’t deserve this My mom is the sweetest most loving person I know. If you can help me with anything i would be most Grateful

My name is John Livingston. I am 70 years old, a single man, unemployed and living on a fixed income ( Social Security benefits check once a month ) Check amount is : $ 1,181.00 a month.
However I am now having financial difficulties. My rent has been increased I now have to pay for utilities ( Gas and Electric ) due to the Covid Virus the past three years. As my landlord used to pay for utilities but cannot afford
to do so now. My rent is now $875.00 a month for my studio apartment. Not enough money left over to pay for my groceries, personal and medical needs, phone bill and $ 180.00 a month storage bill for a storage facility that
is holding all of my belongings in Queens, New York where I am originally from before I had to leave to come here ( ABQ, NM ) due to family responsibilities ( Mother and Sister Stage 4 Cancer ).
I request a monthly rental assistance of at least $ 150.00 a month ( In order to break close to even ) or simply send me my current rent of $875.00 a month if acceptable.
Thank You
John Livingston
