Great question Linda. As long as the items you buy are on the list of items you can pay for with an EBT card at Target, yes you can!

No other store I shop has taken their protein bars off their list of items. You can still buy candy at Target but you can’t buy healthy protein bars for a snack. I even told them I can just walk next door to Wegmans and buy them, why dont’ they support them any more. No response. So beware. Target apparently chooses what they consider snap eligible, and candy, and sugar free soda, are still on that list of ebt items, but NOT healthy protein bars.
