It had no scratches anywhere. The device I submitted was only a couple of months old as the original was damaged and replaced with a brand new one by my insurance carrier and was protected by a heavy duty case and screen protector on it from date purchased from Verizon

Bait and switch on price. NEVER took phone out of the case and yet somehow when they got it it had a bunch of scratches on the sides that now made it lower quality.

It appears that Buyback is obviously short changing seller by claiming that devices have noticeable scratches etc. “- Light Wear: This device has light but noticeable scratching on the body of the device” As such they knocked $30 off their original offer of 151. To top it off when they processed the payment I was charged $4 fee via paypal.

This company is definitely a bait and switch company that takes advantage of people by not giving them what they quoted on new phones.
