I’m sorry you’re having so much trouble finding post cards! The post office absolutely sells a large variety of post cards, but it is possible that your location does not. I have 2 post offices within 3 miles of my home, and one of them has a very large selection of post cards and other stationary. Our article does not state that QT or Dollar General stores sell post cards, but thank you for letting us know. Thanks for reading!

Two drug stores mentioned in this article did not sell post cards, the USPS does not sell picture post cards, nor does the QT or Dollar General. Yes there are many options on-line but they are overpriced and I don’t wish to wait for mail order.

Hi Caleb, I’m sorry that you are so unhappy with the article. Yes, we absolutely do our research before posting! We visited all of the retailers listed in the post, and they all sell postcards. While bookstores and truck stop travel centers are also great places to find a postcard, this article was geared more towards finding postcards in convenient locations. Most people will drive past a large number of the stores we listed in the article on a regular basis, but may not often find themselves in a truck stop. Did the author of the post verify a postcard could be purchased at any of the locations listed “near me?” Was a trip or even a phone call made for verification? I am a person that does send postcards with some frequency and it is difficult to find postcards at the locations mentioned. Of course we know a consumer can purchase a postcard online. Often when a person wants to purchase a postcard and don’t want to wait; they want to send it soon and need to know where to go to make the purchase. This post is a huge disservice to the community and MoneyPantry as a whole.
I know we can’t expect full journalistic integrity from a blog based on affiliate marketing where the goal is pushing out content that is below subpar, however the entire staff should be ashamed for letting it be posted.If someone is going to make a post about a niche topic like this; they should have experience in the subject matter, or at least do their research. A person is more likely to find a postcard at a local bookstore and a truck stop travel center than the places listed.
