I purchased a lifetime membership from “ebid.net” but I have been locked out of my account. Despite sending them multiple documents, such as my driving license, eBay feedback ID, ebid code, and bank statement, they refuse to unlock my account. I am shocked by their behaviour and find it disgraceful. It’s unacceptable for a company to charge for a “lifetime” membership and then suspend access without proper cause. I believe the CEO should investigate the actions of this company’s support team.

Thank you for sharing your experience Mahendhar. It seems like after their initial success, they are doing the same thing eBay had done (charging sellers more fees) which lead to thousands of sellers leaving eBay.

Although you can list for the period of four months for 20cents they have this online adds.
When you make sale they charge the seller a arm and leg, for promoting the item you have sold
with no break down of there. costs. with this sellers I correspond with finish up selling at a lose.
They also have brought in 250 dollar insurance for buyers if a item once shipped with a tracking No.
for loss or damage while in the post. One seller had the full amount taken from there bank account
even when it arrived undamaged , and cancelled there positive review.
they also put your shop on vacation mode for no reason, although the say it is for excessive work
load load on when you have made only one sale. I was a Esty seller no more. check out there reviews they are abysmal.Keith, thanks for the question. Yes, some of these alternatives to eBay can also be used in other countries including Canada, U.K. and Australia. Some may have a different domain name for each country. For example eBid’s site for the U.K. is ebid.net/uk.
