They do not respect the PEOPLE, YES WE ARE PEOPLE, working their audiences for them. They nitpick wayyyy too much on bs stuff and they are terrible when it comes to payout time. You wait in long, slow lines, and THEY DONT CARE. They do not pay for your time standing there either. They are very disrespectful. The DA will catch up with them.

Well now I am embarrassed, I did further research and yes Onset has paid audiences. A lot of there stuff is in NYC but the do have a few LA shows…sorry about that…I couldn’t delete comment…drats.

I went to the onset site but it says to get free tickets to shows. I don’t want free tickets, I want to get paid to be an audience member, am I missing something here or is there another place to make it clear that I want to get paid?

Jenna, very true but the article isn’t called, actors to get paid for audience work, it even says no acting experience necessary. This is just something for people who want to get paid to sit in an audience…If you want to be a professional actor, go stand in line at 4:30 am and register with Central or join a theatre company and do some shows and send out your ZED cards …just saying.

If you live in NY, then you can easily find a paid audience gig. Most big showbiz companies do have auditions in NY.
