agreed. it is hard for me to go twice a week bc i usually don’t feel recovered enough . it does suck that they encourage you to give twice a week with extra compensation. If you don’t go get your energy zapped twice a week, it’s like you feel punished and make less. I think it should be a conflict of interest to financially encourage and make someone feel pressured to go more than we’re comfortable with then lose out. They get you in the door with the increased new donor amount then take you down to half the amount of pay. I drive 1 : 15 each way to the center in using . I’m gonna move around until I can’t to get new donor pay bc half that amount $45 50 inst worth the drive or worth losing that much fluid. The who own these companies make a lot for each unit. It’s a biz to them a biz to the pharmaceutical companies. So it’s gonna be biz for me to switch up soon. They should pay better as it take a lot out of your body, takes time and money hydrating up eating , etc, and some of us travel further so more time and gas. I can’t be loyal bc I couldn’t afford to do it all with such low pay. Then it’s like there never are any bonuses available for ongoing donors, they can be bitchy if you work or whatever and come in later time wise. They set the hours of being open until 8pm ( which to me says you can walk thru that door up until 8 but they get mad if you come in 15 mins before closing. So, putting up with all we. go thru, I have no problem going somewhere to be paid more!! anyhow, thought I’d comment!!
]]>Sorry about that, Philip. Do you mind sharing your experience and what exactly happened?
]]>James, I am not really qualified to answer a medical question like that. Sorry about that. You’d get a more qualified answer if you ask a medical profassional.
