Horder, I’m not sure if they pay for the metal per se, but most places pay for old phones to recycle the electronic parts and batteries, as that’s where the money is. But just to be sure, I’d call a few local recycling centers and ask. Good luck!

Being one of those people that just has to have the latest phones, I am always looking for the best value for my older device.

I have actually used Gazelle – great experience with them. Sent my phone in and got paid via Paypal.

My most recent trade in was with swopsmart.com – Great experience with them as well. I choose them because they offered me the most for my iPhone 6s.

I will be giving gadget gobbler a try on my next trade in(Can’t wait for the Galaxy s8), so thanks for the share.
