Far better in taste and ripeness. The carton has generally a uniform ripeness . But imagine my surprise when I shopped at Sam’s club yesterday and without question, bought a 32 oz. package of Driscoll strawberries. When I went to work them up I was very stunned at the toughness of the berries. They were both hard and tough, and lacked the flavor of strawberries. . My wife ate one and said that she didn’t want any more of them, and she loves strawberries. I was very stunned, and now I afraid I will have to shy away from buying Driscoll berries for awhile.
